I’m thrilled to share more about Pencil Projects Architecture Studio's journey and some of our day to day events and experiences. Covering topics from projects updates, Fall classes I’m enrolling in, and even must-have materials, methods and products that inspire our work.

My Design Projects

My fascination with design and architecture started at a young age. It blossomed with visits to jobsites with my dad, a love of art and math with incredibly supportive teachers at Maria Regina High School in the suburbs of Westchester, and a robust and challenging Bachelor of Architecture program at the Bernard & Anne Spitzer School of Architecture in New York City with several professors who left a prolific impression on me. These hands-on experiences taught me important skills and ignited my passion for community and accessible design. After close to two decades of design, project management and finally getting my license in 2020, opening Pencil Projects became an achievable dream with the support of my husband and three children.

In the coming months, I’m eager to showcase our creative process, our ongoing projects, and more about the team at Pencil Projects.

Upcoming Classes

Education has always been a cornerstone of my design journey. I'll be partaking in several design courses over the Fall and will be exciting to share updates from those assignments . My goal is to enhance my understanding of particular areas of design and to create more cohesive, innovative and functional spaces while enhancing our visual presentations and techniques.

Must-Have Products

As a design enthusiast, I’ve encountered several products that significantly enhance my projects. Whether it’s the right paint brand that offers the perfect hue or tools that streamline the renovation process, I’m excited to share my recommendations.

One product I absolutely love is a high-quality color-matching tool. This device helps me effortlessly find complementary colors, saving me countless hours and ensuring a cohesive look. For example, when working on the cottage renovation, this tool helped me identify the perfect shade that complemented the vintage woodwork beautifully. I’ll be reviewing more must-have items soon, so stay tuned for tips that could elevate your own design projects!
