Pencil Projects Architecture Studio, is a certified women's owned community focused Architecture and design firm, founded in 2020, providing Architectural planning and design services, project coordination, and building department and permitting support. With over 20 years of experience with a variety of project types throughout Westchester County, our firm is passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces that are tailored to our client's needs while integrating responsible design practices. We value our client relationships and strive to provide a transparent, inspired, fun, collaborative, and creative design experience.

We specialize in both residential and commercial projects and can assist with building and permit application coordination.

Since forming our brand in 2020, we have worked with over 200+ clients on assignments ranging from new construction, full fire reconstructions, major alterations and renovations, additions, tenant fit-outs and changes of occupancy, custom outdoor living spaces, music studios, daycare facilities, yoga and exercise establishments, movie theatres, art centers, offices, and more.

Our firm’s founder, Danielle DeVito, has over 20 years of hands-on experience in designing and managing projects throughout Southern Westchester from conception to completion and has tailored a unique, informative, and fun experience for our clients.

Danielle graduated from The City College of New York with a Bachelor of Architecture, after completing their accredited 5-year program. She is licensed to practice Architecture in New York, Connecticut, Florida, and Vermont and is a member of the American Institute for Architects, and NCARB certified. She is currently serving on the Village of Pelham's Architectural Review Board and the Pelham school district's Facility Committee. To compliment her broad range of Architecture and construction experience, she is a licensed Real Estate Agent since 2008 - staying in touch with trends, and market values, and having access to housing information and properties throughout Westchester County. Danielle is also a notary public.

Danielle's overall experience includes working on assignments ranging up to $14,000,000, and with a mixed bag of private, residential, and commercial clients including Live Nation, The Pelham Art Center, The Capitol Theatre, The Picture House, Chef City, Meals on Main, Sweat New York, Anna & Jack's Treehouse - among others. Danielle has gained knowledge, experience, and a strong network of talented and experienced engineers and consultants to sort through a variety of design challenges both small and large.

Christine Weaver joined the firm full-time in early 2022 as lead office management and project coordinator. She works closely with the principal and all the project team members to keep projects organized and detailed and works closely with our clients and consultants for scheduling, processing of applications and coordinating municipal approvals.

Her degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice sets the tone for her impeccable attention to detail, reliability, and organization. She is also a notary public.

Arlan Lego joined the team in 2020 as Architectural designer. He has worked closely with the principal from the inception of the firm on most projects, has been involved in developing and refining brand standards and has been instrumental in the firm's drawing production.

With a variety of skills in drafting, extensive construction and field experience, knowledge and talent with design software and 3D visuals, Arlan brings our firm's conceptual ideas to a high level of graspable design that our clients can understand, process, and appreciate.
